5. The comeover...this was okay on Zac Efron in High School Musical but lets move on already!

6.White sunglasses...yikes!

7. Anything Neon...the 80's have tried to rear its ugly head all year long!

8. Ed Hardy shirts...rule of thumb if Jon Gosselin wears it the trend is beyond over!

9. Harem pants...seriously?

10. Mumu's...no need to look preggers when you are not!

rodarte for target

So we have to admit a major flaw. . . we aren't perfect (that was tough to say but it feels good to get it off our chest). We missed the boat in announcing Rodarte was launching a line at Target (oops). Amazing line and one of the best at Target as far as we are concerned. It is selling out super fast. Nordie Girl

I am now even more of a Nordie girl than I was before! I buy most of my investment pieces (handbags, jeans, shoes etc. . .) at Nordstrom because they have a great return policy. Two friends of mine have had jeans that tore and were purchased over a year ago and they were able to swap them out with no receipt! Nordstrom was able to verify they bought them there because of the UPC code in the jean.

Christmas is about the kids after all right? If its not the Wii game system that you are standing in line for at 4 in the morning its some fake critter, Zhu Zhu Pets. Being young moms ourselves we are not fans of junky toys that the kids tire within 10 minutes after opening. Audiovox DPF711K Homebase Digital Message Center: We could all use some help getting it together sometimes (ok, all of the time). This board will help the mama in your life keep (or get) organized. This sticks to your fridge and has a digital clock, dry erase board, post it pad, LED message indicator and7 inch digital display for photos of the kiddies. You can also make audio recordings to give yourself little reminders of daily activities, etc. A good way to keep the family organized Jetson style. Find it at Amazon for $113.

The Flip: Every mom (or anyone for that matter) has a moment when they need to whip out their video camera on the spot but most likely don't have it with them. Enter The Flip! You can fit this tiny video camera into your pocket and then plug it directly into your computer to upload the footage. Prices range from $150 - $230 and cameras can video anywhere between 60 mins to 120 mins. They are available in all kinds of cool designs and colors.

- Suede Scuff Slippers: Keep your mama's toes warm this winter with these house slippers from target. We both have a pair and love ours. They have a hard sole on the bottom so they won't be ruined by walks to the mailbox or dropping the kiddies off at school. Only $16.99 at Target!

A trendy girl can be tough to shop for if you don't know her taste. We have sorted through the good, the bad and the ugly and compiled a list of a few of our favorites that we think will satisfy even the most discerning gal in your life.

- Okeeffe Necklace: Big statement necklaces have been a big hit over the last few seasons and aren't going anywhere soon! They can be a focal point of a simple outfit or add a little somthing extra for a special occasion. Sometimes they can be pretty pricey but we found this beautiful one at Anthropologie for $48.

- BDG Plaid Flannel: One of the hot items for this winter is the plaid flannel. I've been wanting one but am super picky about the fit. This one is perfect: a little bit loose but not too baggy. We found it at Urban Outfitters for $39.

- "Who What Wear" by Hillary Kerr & Katherine Power: This book is a must have for every trendy girl! Co-authors, Kerr and Power, also head up the popular website by the same name. In this book they share their tricks of the trade and help you learn how to translate runway looks and popular trends to your everyday life. Style icons such as Rachel Bilson, Nicole Richie and Rachel Zoe contribute as well. $12.89 at Amazon

It's that time of year again. . . fighting the crowds for the gift of your man's dreams in which you inevitably fall short each year. Its not your fault, between Christmas parties, Christmas programs, Christmas cards and Christmas outings there is no time left and the pressure sometimes results in a lackluster gift! It's so frustrating and it doesn't help that now with kids, poor hubby is last left to buy for. We have done the research for you to make your life easier. Here are some great ideas and some great deals!

The New Father: Digital Bragbook...I found this and loved it. It gives that personal touch and is also a cool way for them to show off their latest and greatest addition to the family! It can be found at Red Envelope which is a great site for unique gifts! It is listed for $94.95.

The UGA Fan: This is a steal and is a little tacky but I love it! A cast iron BULLDOG bottle opener. . . what true Georgia fan couldn't use that??? It is only $12 and could be a great gift for those (like all of us) on a budget or to give to dad from the kids! It can be found at Pottery Barn.

The Music Lover: Restoration Hardware has a pretty cool Beatles collection this year. It ranges from All Together Now: The Ultimate Beatles Collection ($399) to T-shirts ($59) and there are even Beatles monopoly and Trivial Pursuit games ($39.95 each). Check it out at Restoration Hardware.

The Business Guy: If your business guy is like mine, clothes are important. Mine is very picky on fit and clothes being neatly pressed. . . he hates the wrinkled, rolled out of bed, bought the wrong size look. Doesn't actually scream "professional". We are big fan of Brooks Brothers and I found a great deal for a quality cashmere sweater. Regularly priced at $348, it is now listed for $179! Great deal and if in your budget, is a quality sweater that will last him years!

The Eco-Friendly Guy: The Green Movement has been huge this year so we did not want to leave out the guy that reduces, reuses and recycles. Restoration Hardware has a "I Am Not a Paper Cup" that looks like the paper cups with coffee lids that you get from any coffee shop. It is only $20! The Modern Guy: I am not a big fan of jewelry on men and there are very few men that can pull it off. Some of the better known that can are Brad Pitt, Colin Farrell, Jude Law etc. . . I love the leather necklace that is so popular right now. I have seen it in boutiques at Seaside, Florida and they are amazing but quite pricey! James Avery is a cool jewelry store that specializes in wearable, simple pieces with a lot of meaning behind them. It is a great story about the man that started it all too. I found some great necklaces ($60 and $90) and bracelets ($135) that would look great on an up to date type of guy!

The Intellect: The Nook is a hot commodity this year! For the reader in your life it is a great gift. It is your access to millions of books at your fingertips! It is a pricey gift at $259 but I have to admit. . . I want one too! Barnes and Noble has created this very smart "ipod for books". Visit their website for details at Barnes and Noble.

The Sports Nut: I come from Chicago Bear territory so I was instantly excited when I came across the "Complete Game Set: 1985 Chicago Bears 12 disc set for $69.69 at Target. This would be a great gift for any of my overly obsessed brothers or the Bears true #1 fan, my Pops.
