One thing that we love now and while transitioning into spring is the cropped boot. We feel that while a tall boot can be a little much as the weather begins to warm, a shorter boot is perfect! We love ours by Frye but they can be a tad on the pricey side for some.
Frye Billy Shortie $238 at Piperlime
As is the Jilly Moo's tradition, here are a few inexpensive alternatives:
Miz Moos Cozumel $139.95 at Nordstrom
Wanted Prague $70 at Piperlime (for a tougher option)
Peramis Booties $74 at Steve Madden
Vannce Bootie $129.95 at Steve Madden
While doing a little research on how to wear ours (yes, even we need a little inspiration every now and then) we ran across some of these pictures and realized, hey we don't need a revolutionary outfit to go with these boots. The beauty of the cropped boot is it's ease of wear. Just slide them on with jeans and a t-shirt (toss on a cardigan or cropped jacket for winter) for an easy everyday look or pair them with a dress or skirt to make it a little more casual. Jilly even pairs her's with leggings and a tunic for some running around.
Rachel Bilson pairs her simple black boots with a skirt and tights for winter.
Siena Miller wears her with skinny jeans and a tee for day and a dress and cropped jacket for night.
Diane Kruger takes her tough boots to the red carpet.
